Here are a few words

If there is one chirp I've heard a thousand times its, " he's got a face for radio " .. probably right there.

So you've heard my voice a million times, most likely on Good Hope FM, on the breakfast show with Nigel Pierce or at Newlands when I'm blabbing on the mike before the WP or Stormers games. Well now you know.

My life in radio started years back with the legendary Mark Gillman ( R.I.P ( now in England )), that was a night show, then he moved to breakfast and I went with as the sports guy. And that was when his (Mark's) fame started.... Then there were a host of other DJ's and most recent, as I mentioned with Pierce.

I've always loved sport, Rugby Cricket and Judo at school, then Muay Thai then Karate for many years. I graded to black belt in Judo and after that went to train in Japan, Blah Blah Blah.... who cares.... the ego trap is to big to fall in.

Now I specialise in communication, that's what Strategic Media does, especially in new media communication. I'll tell you more about that later, but it’s basically online and mobile..... you gonna love this stuff, but it's essentially all about communication strategies.

How does that work now in the world of sport on radio, well its quite simple really, anyone can read the newspaper to get the results and other news, but you get very little or no experience there. Today the successful communicator turns his message into an experience. So, more important than the sport itself... the question you have to ask yourself every time you walk away from listening to me is, "what did I take away from that?". It's all about the content and the platform you're using to share that content.

More than giving you the sport or the event, I look for you to walk away with an experience, a memory and something you want to go out and tell your friends about.
