JP Naude is a former radio presenter now on TV. He is currently the President of the Western Cape Provincial Sport Confederation and owner of Strategic Media.

One of his career highlights was working closely with Tokyo Sexwale during the building of the Nelson Mandela statue.

As a public persona JP is active on social media. He has been involved in managing the Springbok supporters club and WP Rugby supporters club as well as several other major and mega events.

A more recent highlight has been his travels with the South African Baseball team and working on their various Major League Baseball international events including competing at the Taipei Dome in Taiwan.

JP is a Martial Artist with a 1st degree black belt in Judo and full contact Kyokushin Karate which he achieved in Japan, and has medalled on the international stage.

After many years of broadcast radio he moved to television and now presents the award winning Cape Rugby TV show on Cape Town TV as well as the popular Sport Federation TV show.

JP founded Strategic Media in order to deliver a platform to capitalize on his strategic brand and marketing expertise. His network into the world of TV, Radio and Sport has grown into a platform which allows for brands to engage with a desirable outcome. Strategic Media specializes in creating digital content from its studios in Cape Town. Brands and sports structures now engage with Strategic Media in order to reach appropriate networks, from which they are able to draw or create content.

JP delivers a unique full circle value proposition, which includes data analysis, digital production, sponsorship management and network engagement. The company is able to deliver low cost fast turnaround solutions for brands seeking to publicize their engagements or require a touch of strategic alignment.

Strategic Media’s digital video and TV production studios produces Cape Rugby TV and SFTV (Sports Federation TV). Additionally the studios offer low cost video capture and production facilities for companies who wish to bring their content to life in the online space.

As President of the Western Cape Sport Confederation he is actively involved in changing the face of sport in South Africa, by promoting and creating free access to sport. The WCPSC administers and promotes all SASCOC sporting codes.

JP is former Chairman of the Western Cape Transformation Monitoring Committee. This committee oversees and administers and monitors transformation in the Western Cape.

In true innovative JP fashion he has developed a digital transformation scorecard which monitors the transformation activity of all sporting codes, in order to meet the requirements of the national sports charter.
